On September 27, the Long Beach Unified School District's Office of Equity, Engagement & Partnerships hosted its 2nd Annual Districtwide Latino Heritage Celebration at Cabrillo High School.
The Long Beach Unified School District Board of Education unanimously approved, with all members present voting in favor, a new policy: "Reclaiming Attention: Limiting Distractions, Supporting Wellness," which will take full effect on January 26, 2026.
